Merigroup Educational Consulting and Tutoring Services was conceived and founded by Joan Nguyen. Nguyen graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from a University of California. Graduating ranked first in the Political Science Department and receiving the Chancellor’s Academic Distinction Award three years in a row, Nguyen’s academic background and scholastic aptitude is unmatched. Having tutored the SATs for several years, Nguyen has used her understanding of the way students learn to develop the Merigroup SAT Program. Merigroup prides itself on utiizing an innovative approach to teaching difficult concepts, having a team of committed and qualified tutors, and an average score increase that exceeds 200 points. Nguyen’s understanding of the college admissions process coupled with her writing acumen also deems her one of the most qualified educational consultants in southern California. Nguyen has helped students from all over southern California get through the difficult applications process.

Every Student Needs an SAT Tutor
Maybe you have a really good work ethic. Maybe you are really smart. Do you know how to start studying, though? Reviewing practice problems isn’t enough. You might get the correct answer, but did you do it in the smartest way? Did you just get lucky? Merigroup will teach you methods of working SAT problems in the most efficient way, which will save you time and get you an even higher score than the one you would have gotten had you studied on your own.

Our Lessons The Merigroup SAT Program was written and crafted in such a way that will not bore students. The curriculum is fun and entertaining yet still serves its pedagogical purposes. Students have over 1,000 pages of course material to use at their disposal. |
Our Instructors
